Retired and loving life! After over 20 successful years with Lowe’s corporate my husband and I were able to live out our dream and move to the beach. My career covered many aspects of retail, primarily focussed on merchandising and plannogram. Main accomplishment during my career was playing an integral role in standing up the Lowe’s Global Planogram Team. Working hand in hand with my Bangalore partners we developed processes and structure to enable a very successful Global team. Once established this also opened the doors for financial planogramming and planogram analytics. The biggest joy in my career was coaching, mentoring and developing my team, then watching them successfully grow and develope their careers. It’s amazing and heart warming over 20 years how you can see your former employees grow and develope their careers and succeed in life.
I met my Connextion over 20 years ago when I was first starting my career with Lowe’s and she was starting her company. Commonalities in our jobs initially brought us together. Over 20 years later it’s still the most wonderful friendship. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve traveled, we’ve shared so many fun times. Most importantly we’ve rode the waves together… both literally and metaphorically. Both always living by that saying “When life hands you waves, you must learn how to surf.”
